Seaweed as a material in this danish town is a very common item, people are familiar with it and so these designers chose to build by taming the material down to fit Scandinavian aesthetics. The seaweed along with the combination of an airtight assembly, low energy windows, heat recovery system and a high level of insulation, render this house as a green building that has very low carbon impact or footprint
