Project Description:
Charlotte Perriand designed the Perugia shoe store in 1927. Her design incorporates a material palette of stucco and polished granite walls, columns in black and yellow marble, and cement. Lighting is hidden in the ceiling behind white leaded glass. A built-in sofa is included in the main showroom and gray, green, yellow, and black velour upholstery is used throughout the space. In one corner of showroom there is a black lacquered wood chair, upholstered in emerald green, with boa skin insets by Alpina.
