Additional Information:
Gong San Jeong has a simple style of private house architecture. This traditional house is estimated to have been built around the late 19th century, and there is a record of it being renovated in 1924. It is assumed that the Sa-rang-chae was built when it was being renovated. The 'ㄱ'-shaped main building faces south, and the sarangchae are placed diagonally across from it, creating an overall open 'ㅁ'-shaped layout structure. These plans are mainly distributed in the central west coast region and have academic value because they also exist in Eumseong, a relatively central region. The main house was built with the kitchen, main bedroom, and backroom arranged in a central style. A unique feature of this house is a hole above the kitchen to allow smoke to escape. Since residents still live in this old house, permission is required to visit the space.
