Having been to this place personally, I can vouch for the setting and environment of this space to be one of the most comfortable ones I have been to in a long time. We went there for lunch and stayed till dinner, we even stayed after dinner and had drinks and took a nap. The space was cozy and versatile enough for people to couch themselves there for hours. Located in Pondicherry, It has many Portuguese influences in it’s design, dappled with pastel and muted colors and a moderate dose of palm filled courtyards and floral designs. The exterior looks like a lavish bungalow, coated in soft pastel pink and white. Pondicherry being a place where foreign tourists come to visit quite often, the place was made keeping in mind aa more universal appeal. The original lime plaster walls were retained and painted over. The tree's became the identity of the place, sunlight is accommodated here very well. The exterior was always pink and thats why the place is also known as La Maison Rose.
