I chose this project as it has a very fresh appeal to it. Being situated in a historically rich city as well as within a palace, it has an Italian flavour
with an Indian backstory. The design is bold and personalized, this bar feels more like an oasis than a bar. This was place was designed as a space where international travellers could meet and converse, therefore it was integral for it to have an eclectic appeal. The interiors are mix Venetian style cafe along with Indian Mughal block printed walls and tropical murals of flora and fauna hand painted on the wall by a local artist. It is a very sensual and indulgent space to be in. It is specially interesting how within Jaipur - the pink city, this stands out due to it's peacock blue tone
