This house was made with a neoclassical European influence. The French and colonial elements wrap together while the material palette is authentic and channels the same spirit. The main areas of the house are bathed in mellow glows from the diffused light that streams through the wooden slats. There is s certain artisanal infusion to the interior that makes it homely and contextual for a modern Indian in a city like Mumbai. The walls are clad with moulded cement panels, the shutters in some spaces are crafted entirely out of reclaimed wood, many of the pieces were hand made by the designer's team of artisan craftsmen. She also used a mixture of lights and accessories from restoration hardware - mixing craft and luxury in a vintage manner.
